Anne Kraft is an award-winning actress, writer and producer . She recently wrote, produced and starred in „No kidding“ – a dramedy about the pursuit of happiness. It won BEST COMEDY at the Paris Short Film Festival (October `22) and it also won the „BEST SHORT FILM – JURY PRIZE“ and also the „AUDIENCE AWARD – BEST SHORT FILM“.
It is also an Official Selection at the upcoming Miami Short Film Festival where it will have its US Premiere. She is currently developing it as a series.
Anne Kraft was originally trained as a serious actress at „Circle in the Square Theatre School“ on Broadway in New York City, but when playing a tragic death scene in a greek play, people burst out laughing.
That’s when she considered also doing Comedy.
She lived in New York City and L.A, where she also started Stand Up Comedy, before moving back to her hometown Berlin.
Now she often travels between the 2 worlds.
Whether serious acting or comedy, Anne loves both. It is the authenticity of the human weaknesses that move her heart, and keep her going and exploring.

During the first lockdown she wrote the short film „No kidding“ and then produced and starred in it. It is currently shown at festivals around the world.
